The album drops in 13-17 days. Aren't you all going to miss the messages, hype, digital distorted images and videos, the snippets, mouthwatering reviews and the remix contest? Such a fun time.
Definitely. I might even cry for those after the album drops. lol Hopefully there will be much much more fun things that will lead up to the next album.
Of course, part of the fun is the anticipation. The working out hidden messages, lyrics, meanings, art work etc. I've really enjoyed it all this time around, especially as the album is so different and complex.
No, I will enjoy the album "A Thousand Suns" by Linkin Park. And (I almost for got too), don't forget about LPUX!
Plus, we'll have months and months to talk about how much the album rocked/sucked after it comes out.
We'll have LPUX to look forward to. I really think this is the best year in getting new Linkin Park music ever
I think Linkin Park will take all of this into the future. Once the album is released I'm sure they will continue to give us fans something to do, whether its a contest or something else.
This one^^. I won't really miss the anticipation, I'll be too busy enjoying or ragging on the album. Plus there's loads of stuff coming out over the next few months that I'm looking forward to, including: Way of Kings (Stormlight Archive Book 1) Opeth's "In Live Concert at the Royal Albert Hall" CD/DVD The Big Four Live CD/DVD Towers of Midnight (Wheel of Time Book 13) John Butler Trio and Rodrigo Y Gabriela will be gigging here in November. It's going to be a good few months. Ugh, don't remind me dude. Nothing they've done with it so far has instilled in me any confidence for it.
Not really... going to have a lot of concerts to look forward to (not going, but hopefully there will be a few pro-shot one's here and there) and of course will be spinning the album a ton. Then of course as others mentioned we have LPUX which is exciting on its own. What is the board's opinion on whether we'll see any concert footage (pro-shot that is)?
Wasn't wondering about a live album per say, but a pro-shot recording. From Rock Am Ring style to AOL Sessions. I'd imagine we'd see a decent amount of them, but wanted to get the opinion's of others in the community.
Same kinda. I was very aware and anticipatory for Minutes to Midnight however wasn't a member of any forums. Its been really cool to anticipate the album with everyone.
Me 3rd. I didn't even know who the band was when M2M came out. This whole experience has been a blast. Thanks LPA!
Oh wow, you're a pretty new LP fan. Just curious, which album is your favorite, and which do you think is LP's best work? As someone who's been around since the beginning I'd like to see the opinion of someone fresh.
HT: 10/10 Reanimation: 9.5/10 Meteora: 9/10 M2M: 8.9/10. Definitely not one of those "IT DOEZNT SOUND LIKE ZE HYBRD THERY, IT SUX" kinda of guys. I love that their expanding their capabilities. It's not rated as high because I don't think it sounds like an album. More like a group of songs. And some of the songs sound like other bands. Also, don't get me wrong, I'm new but I've caught up nicely. I'm an LPU member, have all the demos, etc. But it's been a hard, real gradual process. I didn't even know what the LPU was mid last year, haha.
