So I guess people don't have music videos of them performing the song, even though it isn't live. Zomgs that's unheard of wtf dude? Bleed it Out was meant to be a fun song, so they fit the concept of it. They don't need paint splashes and smoke for effects. Adds cute effects for New Divide? What kind of explanation is that? I'm not flaming you but come on dude you like rushed down the list with pretty blan reasons just to make The Catalyst video look like gold. It was okay but come on dude.

File not found. I thought the video was really great. I've watched it a few times now but I'll go off my first impression mainly. I thought Mike playing the villian they way he did was awesome, and the way he was pictured in the video was not overy done, but completely got the point across. I actually liked the water scenes and I think they are kinda neat to the eyes. The slow motion didn't bother me either as it speeds up in all the right places; such as on cymbal hits. I did notice how far Mikes tongue came out, and like someone else said I guess it did kind of "take me out of the video" for a second but it didn't bother me that much, and the more times I see it the less it bothers me still. I thought it was cool how Mike "kills" Brad, or at least that's what appears to happen; though you see Brad in a couple clips after that. Smoke didn't bother me at all and goes with the whole point of the video. I don't need to always see the bands face if they are wanting to tell a story that isn't necessarily souly focused on them. I mean have you seen the effects of an atomic bomb? There is an unnatural amount of smoke cloud for miles. I did notice that there wasn't that many clips with Brad though too. Anyways just things I noticed/thought. I think it pretty much beats out all of M2M video's for me, and I was thinking that as I was watching it. Yeah LOATR is cool looking, but when a video looks good And goes with the lyrics, it wins. p.s. Some of Mikes facial expressions/Joe owning his turn table are/was awesome.

You can kind of just apply this mindset to all their videos. And all videos, period. "One Step Closer" is just flying ninja's, "Crawling" is just CGI ice-crystals, "Numb" is just Prague. This new video? Just smoke on the water. And copious amounts of Shinoda to top it off. ;P

Is it Mike that "kills" Brad or is it that masked person? It looks like the masked person. Who are they meant to be/represent? I would really like to read some people's interpretation of this video because I don't notice some of the things you guys have mentioned.
Well the camera at 2:28 goes into a view that like goes straight through the building debris with a few clips of Mike standing in the smoke, and just before the 2:28 it shows Mike rush past the guy with the mask. But whenever the person actually does take down Brad it to me looks like it could of been either Mike or the guy with the mask...if you pause it at 2:32 at just the right spot you can see the figure who is about to hit brad with some long object...and it looks like he has a hoodie on.
Not saying they're all that good, but you've kind of strawmanned most of the videos there other than The Catalyst.
