Really have to admit, this is one of my favorite music videos, not just LP but in general. The story was great, and the scenes of the world around LP were amazing, even if they were fleeting. I loved the imagery from beginning to end, and I have to put my favorite still shot as the last one, before the fade to black, with Chester in the pool of water, only upside down. It immediately reminded me on the line "Where oceans bleed into the sky" Bravo, Mr. Hahn
Enjoyed the video, it clearly had Joe Hahn written all over it (camera angles, shots of chester, new divide-esque feel) like others do wish it wasn't the radio edit, yet it was still fun for what it is. Not my favorite, but didn't dislike, and hey, everyone has their opinions
Is it just me, or did anyone else _not_ see the elephant that everyone was talking about from a while ago?
It's uh... trendy. I don't really care one way or another for it, honestly. I don't think it's bad, I just think some of the responses here (again, IMO) are a bit extreme (in a positive manner).
Glad to see SOMEONE wants to address the elephant in the room. Or lack thereof. You know the phrase. Or maybe you don't. I'll go now. Kinda.
It was an alright video. It would have been much more epic if in the end of the video all you saw was close-up of an elephant. But then again, anything is infinitely more epic when an elephant is involved.
Also for those outside of the US, go to http://linkinpark.mtv.com/ to see the video. It was posted on LP's facebook.
This video actually makes me think "Aww shit I hope this doesn't happen in real life." I hope this video gets award consideration. It deserves it.
