ATS Preview Clips Info Change

    After our update on the changes at linkinpark.com yesterday, stating that the album will be ready to preview two weeks before release for people who pre-ordered through the website, today it has been changed yet again from the following - Access to preview the album two weeks before release date.

    Now it's:

    - Access to preview clips from the album beginning two weeks before release date.

    These changes make it clear we will be getting "clips" and it's a possibility they will be distributed over the course of the two weeks leading upto the ATS release, and not all at once.

    Why would it be a bad idea? I think it's a great way to get amped up for the album, and leave us craving more.

    This makes more sense imo. Helps build the momentum more and stops a group of fans from going "OMG this album is awful" just based off these clips.

    Hahaha, yeah, truth is we don't know how they'll be distributed, but it's interesting to note the change. My guess is someone at HQ saw our previous thread and saw it as people interpreting it as we'll get all the clips at once, and not wanting there to be a backlash of them "lying" again, they cleared it up a little more. Which you have to give respect for really, it's better to be be clear and know what to expect.

    Maybe it just means that people living in different perts of the world will get them not at the same time, but somewhere around two weeks.

    lol ... there wont be any use of the clips when the will leak before 2 weeks :p .. LOL :p

    Why on amazon.com does nobody care about the new album? It isn't even in the top 50. Weird. :\

    Because, if they're doing things the smart way, they're pre-ordering off of LP's site instead.

    It is very clear guys Beggining 2 weeks before just do the math

    2 weeks = 14 days
    ATS= 15 songs
    15 songs - the catalyst= 14 songs
    14 days, 14 songs = 1 preview per day

    Im still wondering if the album wont leak before sept 10th
    I want all of them now Mike

    come on people, is just 10-14 days more since they start releasing... is it that hard to wait a bit more lol? We held on 40 days since the countdown started already.

    Actually, I remember the countdown being in the 60 day range unless I'm just imagining that. Now just think, in another 8hours or so its gonna be less than 20 days away. Awesome :D

    I wouldn't necessarily say pre-ordering from the LP site is the smart way. Aside from pre-sale tickets, there's not much of an incentive. The CD will surely leak before the 14th, the clips from the other songs will find their way online, and I pre-ordered on Amazon and got the Catalyst for free too (they gave me a dollar credit on mp3 downloads which I used to get the Catalyst) plus got free shipping with guaranteed delivery on release date. All in all, I don't think the pre-sale tickets would have been worth the extra $16 I would have ended up spending on LP's website seeing as I'm usually too broke to afford good concert seats anyway that are held for pre-sales.
