http://catfoodagain.tumblr.com Anyone else got a blog or anything? P.S. If you read two posts down you MIGHT be able to figure out why I'm posting this . But in all honesty, I got this thing like a week ago and don't have many people to follow - and I promise my content isn't too horrible.
I'm trying to get one set up for my music but I'm having trouble setting up Wordpress EDIT: Nevermind. Guess it just wasn't Chrome friendly. It seems to be working in IE.
You can follow me @ http://anotherunlikelyhero.tumblr.com/ It's been a while since I've updated it but I plan to do so soon.
After much frustration and finally saying fuck it to the host I was using (Apparently it wasn't non-Chrome-friendly, just non-working-friendly) and went with Sotrix. http://endeavorproject.sotrix.net/
I had a Tumblr a Long while ago but I forgot the password and the recovery system did not work for me. This is my third reincarnation I believe. Now, only if I had any followers I'd update it.
tumblr just comes off as too "Twitter" for me. I'm not one for miscellaneous "Check this link out" type blogs but I guess that sort of stuff needs somewhere to go.
There are some pretty damn intelligent tumblrs out there. I don't post as many 'personal' posts as much mostly because I don't feel like sharing it, but really the customization and ease of use brings me in.
Every tumblr page I've seen is more or less just blurbs like images, links, music, videos, etc. which is cool but not my style of putting things out there. I guess because if I had a blog like that nobody would really give a shit. No body ever comments the videos and links I post on Facebook, so.. My blog is for sort of "professional" use in regards to my musical projects. Since production of my first self composed, recorded and produced album is in full swing and I plan to enter formal music/engineering classes soon, I figure it's prime time for such a thing. I use Wordpress because it's fairly easy to get going (Unless your host is shit, as chronicled above ) and I can have anything from a complex, dynamic interface to a very basic, clean one.
