Well, if you look closely, the whole image forms a skull. I'll say it's just keeping in line with the themes of contradiction, in that you have the bird that is a symbol of freedom and can soar, with the snake it is seen as menacing and can only slither on the ground. I guess with both of them combined to form a skull they're saying that in life there is good and bad, ups & downs, but in the end there is always death.

    Hmm yeah possibly!

Nice theory Joe. This poster is a lot better than putting the band and album name and slapping on a pic of the band!

Guys, I've noticed that if you stand a few feet away from the picture, it resembles a head/face. Think of some alien creature or Cell from DBZ. In order to create the same effect, I've blurred the picture and you can see what I'm talking about. If you still don't see it, there is a diagram. So, once you've seen it, see if you can un-see it. I can't.

Or am I the only one seeing it, worse yet am I the last one?

I'm not really, I just glanced at it from afar once and it immediately came to my attention that it's a head. You can't see it if you're only looking at one part, you have to look at it as a whole.

I'm pretty sure it was. That's why I said if you look closely it forms a skull. Not the actual skull at the top, the whole image IS a skull. At least that's how I see it. I'm pretty sure it was meant to be done like that.

Why not? There's really no reason to believe it isn't intentional. Think about it, the guy hidden in The Catalyst Artwork, plus on the images that were on LP.com

This whole Art Campaign has had hidden images and abstract all over it. It makes perfect logical sense that if you look afar from a picture that combines animals, that makes a skull ontop, to be part of a large whole where it's a head. I makes sense that it would be intentional is what I'm trying to say..

    haha.

The guy in The Catalyst artwork wasn't intentional, and I thought they were done with the hidden message campaign.
