WHY - SO - EXPENSIVE ? I mean I have to work at least a whole week for $60! and since I can't work everyday it takes me a MONTH and now with the financiel crisis some may not even have 60 bucks to spend without ending up on the street ;/
The guitar riff slightly reminds me of "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters. This definitely does't sound like LP, but I love it.
Sorry to sound harsh, but you should probably get a new job if a week's worth of work equates to $60. And as per your financial crisis argument, if a person has less than $60 to spend on a band fan club, I really doubt that's what they're worrying about.

Alright so after thinking about it I'm pretty positive that this song is no indication of how ATS will sound. Remember that Mike said when they first started writing the new album they were writing songs that sounded like what they had done before, but then scrapped that and began developing the ATS sound. While we don't know when that change occurred, my guess is that this song was before it. It sounds much more MTM than The Catalyst / ATS.
If your trial thing works with LPUX than yes, definitely wait for MN! Worst case I would just buy you a ticket and you could pay me back... It's definitely not worth getting it at this second. Pretend to Be will be all over the internet.

Rape In Linkin Park! and Cookie, it's from an unreleased 2008 so that'd have to be MTM....the song reminds me of Valentines Day and In Pieces so I'd say it was one of the 17 original supposed tracks of MTM that they took off. I always knew there was one more to be released before ATS.
MTM was released in 2007, this isn't an MTM demo. Likely this was part of the band "finding their new sound" that Mike refers to in interviews. This was done before they decided on the sound that would shape ATS.
see the only thing is i don't think they started working on new music so early on? 2008 was a bit early
I sense this may be a theme for LPUX. There could be all kinds of demos during this time frame! Haha they could call the CD "Demos after M2M but not good enough for ATS"
PTB is a good song but nothing too mindblowing IMO, but is definitely a nice stopgap between The Catalyst and ATS.
It sucks living in canada. Never get to go to any events, i cant see why they dont do a cross canada tour, all the major canadian cities are within a hundred miles of the border so its not much distance to go
