This post is specifically aimed towards the Linkin Park exclusives hunters:

I need some help determining what "rare/exclusive/never-before-heard" stuff I am missing. Below are 3 images of my collection so far (about 5-6 years of work). Also, there are two things in particular ("What I've Done (A. Ostapenko and R. Galatonov Remix)" and "My December (Symphony Remix)") that I'm not sure are even actually confirmed/approved of by Linkin Park, so please help confirming those, too. Excluded from these images but in my possession are: Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes to Midnight, Live in Texas, Collision Course, Road to Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes, Reanimation, Songs from the Underground, Out of Ashes, The Rising Tied, LPU 3, LPU 5, LPU 7, LPU 9, and the Xero cassette sampler.

By the way, I have NO idea how to resize the images while keeping them clickable to see the full view so a moderator or someone with the authorization, please help!

What's Hive? Teletonic? Saturday??? And when did they play In The End acoustically? There's a sticky that covers this same topic and it doesn't have nearly this many songs.

Hive Teletronic and Saturday are part of the 2005 VMA score that Mike Shinoda did with Lil Jon

It was played at KROQ in 2001 with Pushing Me Away and Crawling.

I'd have to look at my personal collection (which I'm too lazy to do at the moment), but I CAN tell you that 'Pro Tools 8 Tryout' should be called Lockjaw.

I have Lockjaw (the official LPU exclusive) - it's there. The "Pro Tools 8 Tryout" is the rip from the video of Mike working on it with Rob.

Thanks! I imagine a lot of these were rips.

Yeah, particularly a lot of the live ones. If it's not live, it's a studio release unless marked otherwise. I personally didn't rip any of these, and those who did them did a pretty good job.

The My December symphonic remix is a fan-made remix.

That's what I thought having never heard about it officially; the piano part is similar to the live version on the Songs from the Underground EP, however - interesting to note. I'm gonna assume the What I've Done remix is fan-made too. I mean, I knew it was, but didn't know if it was released as an official remix.

Highway to Hell, Paradise City, and Whole Lotta Love are all Camp Freddy featuring Chester on lead vocals. Not sure if you have them tagged that way, but the filenames alone are a little misleading.

In the End (Crystal Method Remix) - Pretty sure this is fake/mislabeled, as I've never heard of it.

Reckless (feat. Mike Shinoda) - Never heard of this either.

Other than that, I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

Yeah I didn't put the details view due to it being so ridiculously lengthy but the 3 you mentioned are indeed the Camp Freddy with Chester and others as featured guests on them - the tags when in a media player fully display "Title (feat. guests) (Live)."

I believe it was Astat that confirmed the In the End (Crystal Method Remix) - I can't recall where I came across it but I sent it to him and he confirmed it.

Reckless, again from somewhere I can't recall, but Mike is only featured in the intro of the track.

Can anyone confirm all the demos as Hybrid Theory and make sure I have them labeled right? I know the album titles aren't there but you just have to go with the grouping of tracks (e.g. 01 - 08 with She Couldn't is the 8-track CD where as the 01 - 09 demos are the 9-track CD).

    EDIT: Reckless - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTF4UEfG_Xw&feature=related

 You know I'm Astat, I just go by Dr. Octogonapus on here right? I vaguely remember someone sending me something like that now, but I can't for the life of me remember what it sounded like or what my assessment of it was.

Is this it by any chance? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dE6w58xvcyQ That one's called the "Crystal Remix," so that might be where the confusion came from.

Also I got clarification on Reckless, that's a track by Lt. Cornbread that has Mike on it as an "announcer" pretty much. I remember the song, just didn't remember what it was called.

As far as the Hybrid Theory demos go, there's the 8-track, 9-track, Esaul/By Myself 2-track, the second Points of Authority demo with the "stop the talk show" lyrics, the slightly different versions of Super Xero/Esaul that were released on hybridtheory.com, Now I See from the Ozzfest sampler, Plaster, and another version of Super Xero from the Raw Power promo CD. You can also include the version of Esaul on the Frat Party DVD in that list, I suppose.

LMAO. Ahahaha! I'm so sorry for that...it was I who sent it to you and according to the YouTube link, yeah that's it. Is it legit? Is the Esaul from the Frat Party DVD the 1999 garage recording? Also, are all of these demos to be correctly labeled under Hybrid Theory or Linkin Park, particularly the By Myself (Raw Power Demo) and Now I See (With You Demo)? Also...does anyone know the order of these demos? Like, what's the first official demo of By Myself - the 8-track, 9-track, 2-track, website, or Raw Power version and same for Esaul?

Yeah, if that's the same remix, it's not by Crystal Method and nothing official.

Yes to the Esaul on Frat Party being the garage recording.

As for demo classifications, the only ones that might have been released after the name change was the second version of Points of Authority. I've still never tracked down the origin of that one, it's not on any CD, so I'm guessing it was posted by the band on their old website or their mp3.com account or something like that.

Sequentially, I think the different versions go in this order:

    Crawling (9 track) > Crawling (8 track)
    Carousel (9 track) > Carousel (8 track)
Part of Me (9 track) > Part of Me (8 track)
Points & Authority (8/9 track) > Points of Authority ("stop the talk show" version)
Super Zero (8/9 track) > Super Xero (website version) > Super Xero (Raw Power) > By Myself (2-track)
Esaul (garage recording) > Esaul (9 track) > Esaul (website version) > A Place for My Head (Esaul) (2-track)

That's mostly speculation on my part, but judging from the differences between the 8 and 9-track versions of some of the demos (the lines in Carousel/Part of Me that were identical to the HTEP on the 9-track but changed on the 8-track really stand out), it seems to make sense that the 8-track came later. The 2-track was actually released as a promo CD by the band and had the names of By Myself and A Place for My Head changed, so they would've come after all the versions with the demo titles.

You should probably add 'Pretend to Be' to you list.
