KROQ have just announced a competition that would allow the winner to play against Linkin Park in the Xbox360 Version of Medal of Honor: Tier1, as well as win a copy of their new album, A Thousand Suns, due out September 14th. "We just got a call from the boys in Linkin Park and they offered us this super sick deal. They asked us if we wanted to give away a few copies of their new CD A Thousand Suns and the opportunity to play Medal Of Honor: Tier 1, against the band, months before the game hits stores. (LP’s music is featured in the game.) and the opportunity to play. Of course we’d be idiots not to accept. Apparently the band must think they’re pretty good gamers cause they’re calling out you KROQ listeners. Check it… A Thousand Suns hits stores September 14th while Medal Of Hon0r: Tier 1 doesn’t hit till October 12th! Entering to win this is a total no-brainer for any LP fan." You have to be 18 or older to enter and reside in California. Contest Ends August 4th. To enter, click here. Source: KROQ via Dismantle
If only I had an xbox360. Or any gaming system for that matter. Anyhow, how are you suppose to play when the game isn't out yet?
I'm fkn awesome at shooters, I'm entering! =) Edit, open to legal residents of the State of California... Bogus!!
EA is currently doing a beta for MOH on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, so I'm assuming the band will play the beta.
It's US-only? Seeing you need to enter a phone number with xxx-xxx-xxxx. Edit: "The Promotion is open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the State of California." /sadpanda
lol how are we supposed to play with them if the game isnt even out yet? or did i completely miss that part lol
Doubt it. The Game comes out October 12th. The Album, September 14th. You will probably play against the band on a nearly completed build around the time of the album release or possibly after.
If LP is involved in a RAC game, and such activity is also held and is open to international residents, I'll definitely join it.
