    Update: Forum member pytt just confirmed that Zane will also be featuring an interview with Chester Bennington on the Monday show, as well as the UK premier of "The Catalyst". Tune in to Radio 1 at 7:30 to check it out! You can see the tweet below.

    Radio DJ Zane Lowe has given brief details on the upcoming LP single 'The Catalyst' on his official Twitter and confirmed the song will be played in full at 7:30pm GMT on Monday on BBC Radio 1:

    "Listening to new Linkin Park 'The Catalyst' right now. Very good. And not what I expected at all. Sound wise, very little guitar replaced by an up tempo, almost jungle rhythm, urgent synth line and a really strong vocal. First play of new Linkin Park will be on Monday night. Hottest Record at 7:30pm #RADIO1"

    Tune in online to BBC Radio 1 here on Monday to listen to The Catalyst!

    Of course, the song is out by then anyway but anyone who doesn't have access to purchase or download can listen in. Zane Lowe will have it 10 minutes before X96 lol

    Interesting to hear another take on the clip. Looking forward to hearing it, seems like it's everywhere except the internet at this point. :lol:

    What's obvious to me is that the radio stations already have it but have basically been told by warner the first person to play it before monday is gonna get tied up in so many lawsuits their children will need lawyers. :lol:

    Zane Lowe was actually the DJ throughout the day at the Warriors Dance festival on Saturday, the dude is one hell of a mixer I'll give him that.

    This isn't particularly aimed at you, but I've seen a few people hoping that there'd be rapping on The Catalyst too, so I just thought I'd debunk that. No rapping on The Catalyst, Mike said so.

    This song just sounds better and better. Lack of guitar is not a big deal at all for me. I am just shocked that we haven't heard this whole song yet.
