X96 Radio to Play The Catalyst Today

    UPDATE: I have personally been in contact with Marci who has informed me that she will be playing the song on Monday in FULL at 12:40, not today. It seems the earlier broadcasters reported it wrong. Instead she played the same clip we heard from KROQ. Sorry for the confusion.

    The LPA can exclusively reveal that X96 Radio have confirmed they will be playing The Catalyst today at 12:40 MDT. Resident DJ Marci will be débuting the track live on air. You can access the web player through their website here.

    Likely not. Radio stations break songs before release dates all the time though.

    Chances are WB will be going after these guys, but I'll bet you that the radio station already knew the risks by announcing this. They just want the fame of being the first :).

    We want to have a rip of this, but we cannot guarantee the legality of hosting a rip. Certain fansites (no longer in existence) were sent cease and desist orders when WID leaked, so posting the song...even if its a shitty web rip is always a risk.

    Still...LPA has leaked songs in the past and not gotten pwned for it by Warner, so its one of those "do you or don't you" things haha.

    Wow, it seems that a...beautiful girl is hosting all this. Sounds interesting. Maybe I will spend the time learning how to rip instead of waiting?

    Well it seems like posting radio rips isn't a problem when the band okay's the radio premiere. Case in point...when KROQ had a premiere of a new LP song, we posted the whole rip and Mike even linked to us.

    Problem is...I can't say the band is okay with this premiere. I mean several days before it's iTunes release? Seems iffy.
