maybe they made a mistake with the numbers just like they did with calling dave the drummer haha.... well 45 min is fine i guess.... if thats true there will be some short little songs between the proper song i guess

 

Okay so let's say there are 3 30 second interludes (I doubt there are 3 but we'll just go with that number).

16 and a half minutes for 6 remaining tracks. That's about 3 minutes for every single one. Which doesn't sound very unrealistic until you consider the fact that this album is going to have a bunch of progressive music.

It's much more realistic to think that the album is between 50 and 55 minutes and that Phoenix was just giving a general time.

 

I am hoping some of the logic being brought up here is actually true and it's not 45 minutes. Otherwise, things are starting to look and feel very familiar.

 

45 minutes? Well I think that's the only thing that dissapointed me for this album.. Oh well, nothing can be perfect right?

 

Hybrid Theory: 37.7 minutes
Meteora: 36.5 minutes
Minutes to Midnight: 43.3 minutes

 

45 minutes? Seems highly unlikely tbh.

 

This means we have a couple of instrumental tracks through the album boys. I honestly don't mind as long as it's quality music. As long as I enjoy the songs I don't care that's what the replay option is for.

Love the promo photo. Please LP surprise me or I will personally cut out a hole inside the circle in the the Catalyst single artwork, magnify it, print it out and place it over my toilet as a toilet seat.

I think there are 2 instrumentals on this album at least but even then I don't think the album is 45 mins. It's probably a mistake by the author of the article. I'm thinking the album is close to 60 mins or maybe even more than that. But it's the quality not quantity that matters. If the material is good it's good.

 

If it so happens there are only 45 minutes of music (which I know it isn't - for sure) then I will stab Linkin Park.

Because take everything in a second..15 songs does not take 45 mins. Realistically. Anyway, if you check - on the keyboard, the numbers 4 and 6, are both to the side of 5, so my guess is that is a was a typing error. Or the writer misheared Phoenix.

 

I don't think it was a typo, I think Phoenix just said a generalized time.

"45 minutes" flows a lot better than "56 minutes and 35 seconds."

nah, I think Phoenix just gave a general time because most albums are around 45 mins.. idk. All I know is ATS will be awesome, no matter how long it is.
