    I've only seen a few episodes of The Last Airbender and I didn't quite like the style of animation. Which is weird because I'm usually all for anime. I don't know if Avatar is anime though. But I will still give this new one a shot, regardless.

    You should probably watch the original series. You'll get used to the animation once you start getting into the very deep and interesting story.

    its been awhile since ive been excited about a cartoon series. i will definitely check it out, since Avatar was definitely the best Nicktoon after the year 2000

    It's the best American cartoon series from 2000 onwards.

    As an avid Avatar fan, I am really surprised by this news and you can be sure I'll check it out. Especially, after that horrific movie attempt.

    What horrific movie attempt?

    There was never a movie. And I never tried to bludgeon myself to cause brain damage to destroy the memories I had of said movie.

    Should that have been taken as sarcasm? Avatar: The Last Airbender is currently playing in theaters as we speak. :p

    As for the movie itself, Avatar fan or not, you won't enjoy it.
