I like to think of it as LP having 3 vocalists. Chester, Mike, and Mike 2.0 (singing Mike). It will be very interesting to see Mike do all of this singing live!

 

great clip. 5 and a half minutes is enough to include a capella, a death metal break down, a hahn scratching solo, a mike verse, a chester scream, and some tasty delson licks. (not in this particular order haha)

i wonder what the pixel image is gonna give us now? hmmm

 

This reminds me. It seems their new direction includes lots of electronic elements. I hope Mr. Hahn handles a chunk of that stuff instead of scratching, because if you ask me scratching has lost any "cool factor" it had back in '01.

I honestly dont think ive ever been so excited for a cd to be released. This clip made my day!!!!

 

I uploaded part of the snippet here to YouTube. The second "lift me up" got cut off for some reason.

 

Like a good neighbor, state farm is there!....with attractive masseuses, diamond posts, and vuvuzela playing elephants.

 

This song is definitely going to be pretty progressive.

Keeping in mind that this small clip of Mike singing is in the same song as "GOD BLESS US EVERYONE!"

 

Oh come on. Nothing beats the scratching at the beginning of Don't Stay. Classic use of a classic sample.

Not saying it wouldn't be out of place now, but that is an example post-2001

And the electronic drums. It's crazy how it's all going to be in one song somehow.

 

Coming from an album that Linkin Park has practically admitted was too similar to the album that came out in '01.
