Thats what I began thinking about.
Maybe a spaceship, this guy is inside and looking out at the stars - and taking a photo. Maybe he works for NASA or maybe it's an alien!

People are asking what is going on with his left hand....(on the LPL and to avoid it being asked here).
One hand is on the button to snap the photo, the other adjusting the lens. - thats what it looks like.

 

8 bottles of beer(on an empty stomach... it's been a long night) and I get online to find this image, sooooo... I got bored...

I'm pretty sure it's a person photographing some kind of sphere right in front of the camera, while being in front of a mirror.
The three black splotches on the bottom of the main image are three fingers, there's another finger (I think a the index finger) on the right side of the orb, and the thumb is on the top left. The black on the upper part of the image is the distorted view through the orb of the thumb. I think the image has been rotated a couple times because it had to have been taken with the left hand, as the Nikon camera's shutter button is on the right.

Anyone else see the person taking the photograph wearing a suit or a blazer of some kind?
Anyone else notice that the person photographing has a forehead? ... Unlike recent pictures/videos of Mike that I've seen where he's got a full head of hair... Unless he parted it to the side to take the image?

I think this all goes along well with the ole saying involving the white elephant in the room... I think Mike did this on purpose. It's another 'easter egg' that we're supposed to find, I think.

This must be on purpose. I can make out the image without even adjusting anything. Could Mike have just been that careless? lol

Nikon camera? Perhaps its a Mike-on the camera!

Cool.. it fits to the album title, i just hoped for a little more colourfull art this time, minutes to midnight also had a Black & White theme. Now let's just hope the music makes the art seem more colourfull. But i like it alot.

I dont think there is any hidden messages in this one really guys. And i think they have choosen this artwork because, it fits the album title "Thousand suns", And it gives this futuristic mysterious(Spelled) feeling that there have been giving us every time they post a new Album update. Even the teaser from the album has that...
I really have a good feeling about all this

Assuming the image in the circle isn't a mistake:
Maybe the person in the circle is taking a picture of whoever is looking at the artwork. The circle could be a lens, so it's like we are looking through a camera lens at the photographer...
So we're kind of taking pictures of each other.. could the artwork be a reflection?
wow don't know if this will make sense to anyone else.. just thinking out loud =]

looks to me like ..some kinda idiot stuck behind in a F1 car tryin to take pic of wats goin on outside..jk

Am i just seeing stuff or is there a sort of resemblance to this single art and this picture I just saw on the LP.com homepage with entirely other eyes than before
