    No offence to you or Sarah but I really don't see how September 11th has anything at all to do with Linkin Park or this next album. Why would it be cool to release it on THAT date? It makes no sense at all. None. Let alone September 11th is a Saturday so it can't be released on that date anyway. I don't understand how it's relevant. It just seems like a desperate grasp at linking this album with something political and distantly related to the trinity bombings. It's not that it's offensive, it's just pointless to even associate that date with the next LP album IMO.

    Well reports have said 14th of September, the 11th is a very close date to that.

    Why can't it be released on a Saturday?

    LOL It was a random grasp to link the new album. It's just I saw the date September 14th and immediately thought of September 11, no offence intended anywho.

    .................The 14th sounds reasonable, I have no idea why Sarah though of the 11th but I was just saying if that is the approximate release date then seeing as the 11th is only a few days before then you never now they might choose that date. It's not like the 14th has been set in stone yet, it can be any day before or after fro all we know.
    The 2nd of August sounds like the first single for sure.

    Because, in the US, CDs, DVDs, and things like that, are released on Tuesdays.

    I see. I am not sure what is is here. I think it might be Sundays or Mondays when they release the new stuff.

    I don't care on what days they are released. :D. I just buy them when I see them, or pre-order them.

    I do hope that they do something different art wise and what's included in the special edition version. What they did for Minutes to Midnight was cool, with the special edition looking like a book, but I don't think I would want that or a digi-pack, like they had with Meteora. Jewel cases are almost obsolete anymore. Also, I hope the album comes with a small poster. Atreyu, Lacuna Coil, and recently Stone Temple Pilots have done this, and things like that I really enjoy.

    Yeah, I don't think music sales freeze for 9/11 anyway. Not offensive just.. coincidental and ironic.

    i think the world tour for LP is startin in october...and when the new album releases..i think LP wud be doin live shows in USA before goin on a tour...so for one month or little more..i think they wud perform in USA..and..so i think Augsut 2 looks a perfect date for album release or at least single release...and then the album a week or 2 later at most...September appears late..
