Imagine if it was real, and then England win like 5 - 0. I would be....LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. How about that Octopus!? Its ruining the games by guessing them correctly.
If Germany had to play again against England, I would say that they should do likewise for United States vs. Slovenia.
Well, United States were down 2-0, but they came back to tie it 2-2. They scored a third goal, but it was called offsides...even though it was clearly onside. They sent that referee home! It should have counted. *bitter*
Half of the games would need to be played again if they allowed that. That's why it's never gonna happen, when the game ends it's over for good. That referee actually helped the US team by sending them to Ghana instead of Germany. This way at least they had a chance, it's their own fault they didn't lost to very weak Ghana.
That is a very good point. I'm ashamed that they lost to Ghana, though. If they had beaten Ghana, they could have potentially beaten Uruguay. Who knows? They might have been playing Holland next game! That first point as well is true. Some calls will just have to be lived with, unfortunately.
those discussions and the nagging of the british press before and after a match of england v germany is so annoying... yes, i'm german and i'm happy england lost. but we also had that match against serbia, where apperently not every decision against us was right. and there were lots of other matches, where the referee just didn't seem to be there. but i can't remember reading things like they're now in the british press in german newspapers. why can't they just accept, that they lost? or what the hell was that with a newspaper calling the german players nazis just because the jerseys are black? you kidding me? i dunno, but for me that's not sports anymore... and just because they were calling them nazis, they deserved to loose. honestly.
The referee in our game was pretty good, you got a deserved penalty and honestly, Klose too did deserve that red card. He's a good player but sometimes he acts like he's out of his mind and goes around with wild tackles, especially in the first half of the games. He did it against Argentina too, really don't know what the hell he's thinking. And the thing about English press, it's well known that they're always bitter as hell and no one should take them seriously. Btw, German department of Amazon is giving out a free download of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" today!
No, no, that's exactly what Maradona gets for pretending he thought Muller was a ballboy:
maradona as a coach really is some kind of joke if you ask me... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LE123SpV4E0 --> THE highlight of the whole game was our very own Angie... xD everytime she was shown on tv everybody was laughing, cause it just looked so funny to watch her clapping
There was no offside, the referee called an offensive foul. Clearly he was wrong and was sent home the day after the game.
