    yeah but from the way Mike was saying it on the LPU chat it sounded like he was finishing the album at that very moment.

    Even if he were to be laying the very last vocal track/piece of the puzzle at that exact second (which I doubt lol) the album is still far from finished. After recording is done, the band needs to vote on which final songs make the cut, and then once that is done, properly mix the songs and master them for release. Definitely September at the earliest for a release.

    Hmm, perhaps these are all clues to a bigger puzzle. Or simply pieces of a sentence or something.

    they said there will be more puzzles right? I hope next next ones a little more challenging and actually reveals something we can understand lol though hopefully they don't pull another thousand suns out of their asses

    I doubt they are working titles, if they are going to be anything title wise, it will be finished titles. Because Mike said "we're finishing up" the album which tells me it's really close to being complete, "finishing up" could be minor adjustments sound wise, or maybe even "finishing up" deciding what tracks make the cut, we don't really have any idea of how far along they are. All they have needed are a two complete track titles for these puzzles and that doesn't seem too far of a stretch. I guarantee they are at the point of moving away from working titles at this point if not already past it, working titles are for developmental and working stages, I bet all the tracks are almost complete now, so I can't see them being working titles at all, it would be redundant and pointless to give that information anyway.

    Well Mike said this "We’ve almost picked the songs for the album. Almost picked a title. Almost confirmed an album cover. It always seems like these things get confirmed in a couple of days…why is that?" If they almost picked the songs that means the mixing process is over, no? I think it's 90% done, if not more.

    I don't really know about these answers being the track listing. My theory is that these will all come together to mean something else in the end.

    That wouldn't be good if LP's album was called Catalyst though. Cause then people would call them unoriginal :lol:.

    I agree.

    Not necessarily. In fact, probably not considering Phoenix's tweet a few days later about getting his cello chops up for a studio session. So they were still recording as of the 18th, whether they've finished recording since is unknown but they won't go into mixing before finishing all the songs they want. But the main thing is they are close.
