"Message" Updated With New Image

i'm just wondering, what the gif files wanted to tell us... everyone put tons of energy in decoding this binary thing, but i haven't heard anyone talking about the first message in quite a while...
(or maybe i'm just too slow... i feel kinda overstrained with all the messages, pictures, oppenheimers and info being fired at us...)

 

Some guy on Mike's blog posted:

"a thousand suns…maybe it means the number of sunrises (1000) from minutes to midnight until the new album?
if it means that, the new album would release in august.
just my theory…"

...is this possible? Because honestly, I don't really like it as an album title...

 

Also, Mike used the word "instrumental" in his blog post...maybe it's an instrumental song?

edit: He used "instrumental" TWICE...

 

So we could be in for an instrumental message next. It could be something to decode, or you are correct in what you implied that "A Thousand Suns" is an instrumental. I was curious about his word choices too. Perhaps there is an instrumental called A Thousand Suns somewhere and we have to find it.

 

Possibly...A Thousand Suns sounds a little heavy-duty/intense to be something like Foreword...but yeah. That's possible.

 

30 Seconds to Mars have a song called 100 Suns on their latest CD, maybe Mike just wanted to one-up Leto

 

Would they be mixing the album right around now?

I wreckon it means exactly what it says, that Kathy and those people were key to solving the puzzle.
I think we need a couple of days to recharge our brains before we have more thrown at us.

All we know as of last night is they're not finished yet. That could mean they're still recording or that they're mixing/mastering, we don't know.

Haha, yeah. IT BETTER. If A Thousand Suns is an instrumental, I imagine it to be something like Cure for the Itch or Session...something longer and more intense...maybe not an opener. But who knows..."suns" could equal sunrise which could equal opener. Or suns could equal sunset...and it could be the closer.

 

If it's an instrumental I really doubt it's going to be like session or cure for the itch or Foreword. It'd probably be something more akin to Wake, cause damn that's an amazing track if only too short.

 

This whole concept seems awesome. I can't wait for more. Haha.

 

Honestly, i would be pissed if it turned out to just be a short instrumental, it took us ALL week of overusing our brains, and that would be a waste of time if it was indeed an instrumental

 

Yes Wake is amazing...

The British radio guy said that the new single was "proggy"...which kind of seems like it'll be something like Session. The ending of Wake is anything but "proggy"...

 

Wow. After catching up on the past six pages of threads, gotta hand it to you guys. Very proud.
