    Directly from Mikeshinoda.com, Mike Shinoda has filled the fans in with some great news:

    "Quick LP update.. We’ve almost picked the songs for the album. Almost picked a title. Almost confirmed an album cover. It always seems like these things get confirmed in a couple of days…why is that?
    Anyway, I’m living the studio, on trail mix and coffee. What day is it?"

    It would seem that after years of waiting, the new album is in it's final stages. Be sure to stay tuned to LPAssociation.com over the next few months as we fill you in on all the information that becomes available.

    Great news! I am pumped for their upcoming tour and now it is official, new album in 2010!

    So weird that, all this time, we've been kept in the dark. ;D I was starting to believe that the band was no longer excited about what they were making.

    Then, out of the blue, "Oh, we're almost done!"

    How long've they been in the studio for?

    I was hoping they would reveal just like this. Not say much and then all in one shot get cover art, name, and track list all within the same week (or so).

    Be prepared, LPA. This place is about to get crazy! Hopefully we don't get any server downtime when news hits. :lol:

    Should have been here when What I've Done first came out. I think the Staff (and everyone else) was up for a whole 24 hours waiting for KROQ(?) radio to play the single. :lol:

    I think they did after everyone pretty much quit listening because they waited so long.

    I can't wait to hear the songs themselves though!
