A great movie. It's definately worth watching it. I didn't expected it to be that good but it was. 9/10

    Valhalla Rising.
It was shit. Too boring, not enough happened, particularly in the middle of the film. Even the brutal deaths don't save it.

    Evangerion shin gekijôban: Ha (2009)

    4/5

This is the second installment of the Evangelion remakes. Visually, it sets a new precedent for digital animation. However it sticks too closely to the script story-wise to really make a lasting impression. Minus one star for a few instances of illogical actions/dialogue on behalf of the characters.

    Shutter Island - 9/10

Most under-rated movie of the last few years, and possibly of this decade. This is one movie where the ending is so unexpected that it takes a few watches to truly understand it. Possibly this generations' Shining (panned by critics, but one day a classic). Beautiful film.

^ It wasn't that underrated was it? From what I remember, the film garnered some pretty favorable feedback. In any case, the last line was gold.

Yup. I wouldn't really call it underrated.

    -

    There Will Be Blood. 4.5/5
I usually give the plot a big priority when gauging the merit of a movie, but this was a different case. Plot wise it didn't have a lot to offer but DDL's performance totally had me hooked! He was simply brilliant from start to finish. Watching him act was like an experience in itself. The direction and the score, done by Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, impressed me a lot too.

Catch Me If You Can. 4.5/5
Loved it! Great great story with two great performances by Leo Dicaprio and Tom Hanks. They had a great chemistry even though a big part of the movie they don't even see each other. Some of the things felt a little far fetched but they easily got a pass since overall I enjoyed the film a lot.

I don't find Shutter underrated at all. Beautiful movie though.

The Mist 8/10. The ending was superb.

The Men Who Stare At Goats - Disappointing considering the strong cast, but it still had its moments. 6/10

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - Very good, I think if anything these films have gotten better and better. 8/10

Hot-Tub Time Machine - It's worth a watch if you like that sort of silly, crass comedy, but it's no Anchorman. 6/10

^ I watched Hot-Tub Time Machine as well. Didn't like it much. The little comedy that it had were mostly situational. I usually enjoy comedy films when they have funny/clever dialogs. 2/5

    Martyrs. 4.5/5
Probably the most gory/disgusting thing I've seen on screen. Shot and acted very well. I was legitimately scared throughout the whole thing. The ending really impressed me. When they finally revealed the intentions I was like "woah..!" I liked how they didn't even hint towards the revelation for the bigger part of the movie and just decided the hit the viewer with this new angle to the whole thing at the very end. Some of the torture stuff on the second half, however, dragged a little bit imo (though I see how it was necessary). Guess I just didn't expect the plot to go there.

    Iron Man 2
It was cool, I didn't really know what was happening (probably because I didn't watch the first one).

I saw From Paris With Love recently. It was rather corny and not worth buying brand new, which is glad i rented it. I give it a 2.5/5, it was rather mediocre with SOME decent fight scenes, but the acting was rather crappy
