Like I said before in the Dragonball Evolution thread, Jon Foo should be cast as Goku if a live action reboot of Dragonball would ever surface. We'll see his acting chops in the upcoming Tekken film!
There's barely any story here, yes it's really cool but come on. I need more than a fighting scene to wow me. But this is amazing for a 3 minute short, I agree.
The end result of this short was planned to be this way from the get go; the short film is a teaser of what could be done, and what may come to fruition in it's full-length glory in the near future. It's meant to be nothing more than a classic sparring match between Ryu and Ken.The point of this short however, was made as a "love letter" for the fans, as well as making a big statement as to how an authentic and faithful adaptation of a product can be translated into live action.
