I'm getting the feeling that the song will be a simple kids song for regular video game, not a rock song lol.
I saw this coming a mile away. The game was supposed to be out this week yet there was no promotion...kinda made it obvious the game wasn't ready lol.
man I have a prediction that it will be something like that. I bet Joe and Mike will be involved a lot on the track. We will probably get a song that fits the style of the game (dah), so it will probably be beat/synth/rap/scratch heavy. If chazzy raps though someone would self destruct before the game does, because it would be just pure awesome. I reckon the majority of the song will be instrumental. Maybe there will be guest appearances by Mark, Styles, etc; probably not but that would be rad.
If anything...it'll probably sound a lot like their older work to appeal to a mass audience. I cannot see this song being an incredible departure or an honest appraisal of the new album's sound. I could be wrong though.
This is just a fairly meaningless guess but after reading this I started to think that maybe during the course of the game players will unlock tracks from each band member. Like after beating Robs level, players get a drum part of the new song, after Brads level guitar part and so on. That would be interesting.
The only thing that I ever wished Linkin Park would ever do is feature Mark Wakefield in one of there songs. Barack Your World was too much of a joke. still a good song though.
