So I know there are a few Aussies on here, how are you going to celebrate Australia Day (and who's going to Big Day Out)?

Me? I'm going to stay at home and play Australia Day Olympics in the backyard with snags on the BBQ.

I'll be up at Port Stephens with the girlfriends family, so chances are I'll just be hitting up the beach :)

Regretting not getting BDO tickets now though...

That's not a knife, this is a knife! *stereotypical Australian*

    ------------------------------------------------

I'll be enjoying the beach with a group of mates (most of whom probably won't go in the water ), followed by a party at one of their places.

Spent my day in early labour surrounded by my sister's weird friends on the verandah.

Okay, this is 100% serious. I ended up going to a barbecue, playin' some backyard cricket, then sitting back and drinking beer whilst watching the cricket.
I can't think of anything more freaking Aussie, yet I did it, without even realizing 'til right now.

    Haha well done man!

I thought I did well, beer, live bands in a park covering AC/DC and Powderfinger, and hitting up the beach! :D

I went to the city, with the aim of buying an overdrive/distortion pedal with my friend, that ended up with me standing around while my other friend bought skinny jeans. Was pretty dismal.

But then we went back to my place and made noise. We had plans to have a barbecue, but we couldn't be bothered and had no money. Ended up eating some barbecued lamb with my family anyway.

Mine was pretty good, actually. Just had a bunch of friends around at a mate's place, hung around by the pool drinking, cooking up a BBQ and blasting music.
