    Fun fact: Leno was fucked over before Conan ever got fucked over to begin with. Five years, to be exact.
    Another fun fact: Leno's not the fucking reason NBC decided to swap things around. They saw things were failing, things that THEY put into motion, and then they panicked. Leno's just taking the backlash, because everyone feels the need to blame someone. Blame NBC, not the guys who just got fucked up the ass.

    But IMO, it should've been Leno who gave the ultimatum "If you move my show, I quit" to NBC instead of Conan. The Tonight Show was rightfully Conan's and Jay stood by and let NBC take it from him without saying a word.

    Conan's bad ratings were because of Leno. No one watched Leno, so no one watched the local news. No one watched the local news, so no one watched Conan. The idea is that people will watch whatever is at 10 because it's good, then stay on NBC for their local news, and then at the end of the news, the anchors would probably say "Conan's up next, his guests tonight are so-and-so" and ideally, people who normally don't watch Conan would at least be interested in the guest and they would keep watching. But Leno's show was so bad that people didn't watch it, there was no lead-in to the local news, and no lead-in to Conan.
