Wow, to place on the same list as the Beatles is an acheivement in itself. Well deserved though as Hybrid Theory was kinda the pinnacle of the whole nu-metal movement.

I question why some other artists even appear there however; but that's just me, and I'm gonna keep my opinion to myself :).

I've gotta say I'm quite surprised that Creed, Usher and Eminem twice are up there.

I'm not surprised at all considering the artists and albums listed were ridiculously popular during early to mid 00's. The Beatles are the exception since, well, it's the freakin' Beatles lol.

True but I didn't think Creed and Usher ever got that popular. Then again I didn't live in America around then.

Creed and Usher did get that popular, indeed. Hybrid Theory is an amazing album, deserves the spot.

I didn't know anyone that didn't have Creed's Human Clay back then. Except for me, of course. :p

Glad to see Hybrid Theory up there, though. It's even a greater achievement considering that was their debut record.

Lol I've got four of them. Beatles, Eminem, and LP's. It's interesting that all of them came out earlier in the decade. Congrats to the band.

I guess this means LP has the 2nd highest selling rock album of the decade (first if you don't count The Beatles, as that isn't really a new CD, just a best of). That is pretty impressive.

It's also a great achievement that they've been able to retain the success over the years, unlike some of the artists on that list.

It's not really all that interesting at all. The albums have been out longer, and have had more time to sell.

Unless you're hinting that downloading has impacted sales.

I guess this is US only since LP sold about 50 million albums altogether.
