In fairness it's gotten some really good reviews as well. Allmusic gave it 3.5/5 and Kerrang gave it 4. Rock Sound gave it 8/10 as well and that's coming from a magazine that's indifferent to Linkin Park related stuff at best sometimes.

I guess just like the LP fanbase, it really depends on who listens to it .

While Out Of Ashes is by no means a classic, in terms of straight up rock it's one of the best albums this year in my opinion.

I just found it really weird that we waited years to hear Death To Analog (which I personally think is the best album this year) by Julien-K only for them to basically drop the project in favour of working with Chester.

    Wow, that was bullshit.
Linkin Park's 'emo turn'? Proves the reviewer is nothing but a moron.

Sorry I know bitching about use of the term emo is getting a bit old, but it was pretty fucking stupid.

Don't apologise, I'd think the majority would agree.

I would just post them all. If people think it's harsh, let them make the decision when they read it. *shrug*

Not really news, but just letting everyone know that Linkin Park have put up all their music videos back on their YouTube account.

Via Google's new streaming service, Lala, you can now listen to exclusive live versions of DBS' Let Down, which is a mix of the Katrina Benefit version and the studio version, and New Divide.
