    Dead By Sunrise will be one of the supporting acts for this years Holiday Havoc '09 being held at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, NV on Friday, December 11th, 2009. Alice In Chains is the headliner with more supporting acts to be announced.

    An Internet only pre-sale through X107.5 X-treme Radio will be held on October 15th and 16th at 10:00 AM PDT - 10:00 PM PDT. To take advantage of the pre-sale, please sign up on X107.5's mailing list and you will be e-mailed with further information.

    Tickets go onsale to the general public on Saturday, October 17th at 12:00 PM PDT via Ticketmaster.com. Prices are $35.50 - $95.00.

    They have a new vocalist. I saw him try to do Would? on Jimmy Kimmel. Epic fail.

    I've seen them live with him, and he was excellent. Doesn't quite have the motion of Layne, but he's easily just as good a singer.
    The mix on Kimmel wasn't great, have a look at any of their other performances with him.

    He's not bad, but it's just not Alice in Chains. I hate it when bands replace a vocalist and keep the name. With rare exception, you can replace a drummer, bassist or guitarist and the sound would still be the same, but vocalists can't be easily replaced. Like I said, he did a decent job of it, but it's not worthy of being called AIC.

    Mmmm it's true, but let's be honest, Cantrell is the basis of AIC. As long as he's still there, it's the same main songwriter and so on. Plus Duvall sounds a heck of a lot like Layne.

    But yeah I do see where you're coming from. But nfortunately the dude died, it's not like they kicked him out and continued without him under the same name.
