    For those of you who are looking all day for accurate lyrics for Dead By Sunrise's debut album "Out of Ashes", we here at LPA have now posted our interpretations of the lyrics to all 12 songs* (including the Japanese bonus track "Morning After") in our lyrics section.

    *Edit* 10/15/09 - We have used the lyric sheet from the Japanese release (the only release TO contain lyrics) as a guide and therefore are very confident in the accuracy of the lyrics. Shall any lyrics be off however, please let us know. Thanks to swsrd for her help!

    This might just be me, but I thought the line from the bridge of Crawl Back In was "Sometimes I cry", not "Sometimes I crawl".

    "Sometimes I lie, sometimes I crawl..." it's a play on words.

    Haha I didn't think of it that way. I just thought it was him using that strange inflection he puts on words occasionally when he's singing.

    You mean the singing through the nose technique? :lol:

    I love Chester's voice and think it's very powerful but he is rather nasaly sometimes.

    I meant that sometimes he pronounces some words strangely while he's singing, to me at least. I can't remember where exactly but I think one example was when they first started playing Shadow Of The Day live.

    I think the "come on" at the start of the Reanimation version of With You tops that list, haha.

    And another example being that in Let Down, he pronounces "again" as "a-gayne"

    In some parts of this country I think that would actually be the normal pronunciation :lol:

    I think in Inside of Me it's 'I feel more alone every day' instead of 'I feel all alone every day'.

    Nice job with the lyrics guys!

    Though I dunno if its just me but in "give me your name" at the very end of the song, I keep hearing "your my life..." instead of "your mine..." maybe its just just the echo effect?

    It might be that, however I'm at work and cannot listen to the song. Anybody wanna listen to it real quick and verify?

    Also we know the chorus to that same song might be off. We had trouble figuring it out. If anybody wants to take a stab, go ahead.

    After listening to this song again, I think you guys are right.

    The echo effect really does make "mine" sound like "my life" but it would make sence as "your mine" is sang in one of the verses too.

    Hey, everyone!!
    I've already seen the lyrics you guys posted, and seems like there is no printed lyrics from the EU version CD and US version, so I think maybe I should tell you about this.

    I come from China, and since we've got the Japan version CD of "OUT OF ASHES" here and there is a printed lyrics attached to the booklet of the CD which was made by the WB Japan corp.,I guess, so I think it's more official??(lol if it could be called official)

    Anyway, I typed all the words and made a doc file, and you could see the whole lyrics here: [link removed]

    Well, I must point out there are still some flaws in the printed lyrics according to my listening and spelling rules, so I do some modifications which were noted by red color you could notice in the doc file.
