It will never stop. As long as people keep watching these sequels, it will have an audience and thus will keep being made.

Saw 4 was genius and was genuinely scary (and also the best of the series), but after that it just seemed to be rehash after rehash.

I do agree with this. The amount of profit they make from these movies is just too high for them not to make sequels.

there are only so many ways you can mutilate the human body
they have to be running out of ways
I find the saw movies to be soooooooo boring

I found the first and second ones to be really good, 3 okay, 4 the best one, and 5 pretty bad.

On the contrary, all the traps they've found are REAL traps that were used in medieval times, and found via research through old books. That's what always made Saw so unsettling..knowing that all those traps could actually exist.

When you consider all of the quality horror flicks that have come out in recent years, it's difficult to grasp why people pay money to see this schlock every year--although, admittedly, I did enjoy the first movie.

Pronounced in French, Saw 6 is the same as the word sausage.

And Saw 7 sounds like sock.

    Enough said

I used to think they were shit movies until I watched them from 1 to 5 in 2 days.

I love em now haha. I'm a sucker I guess. I'll watch this when it comes out but it's not like I'm looking forward to it with a passion.

    QFT.

1-3 were pretty good but I barely found 4 and 5 watchable.
