Exactly. The more people complain about what is popular now, makes me realise how shitty most popular music was in the beginning of the decade.

I guess, people out grow some kinds of music...

It's not EXACTLY Amy's voice, but it's pretty close. This girl has a bit more strain on some notes.

I'm assuming the 'We Are the Fallen' is a reference to the Fallen days of Ev?

Either way, it sounded like a meh Evanescence song. But a lot of the sound I wish had stayed with Evanescence is definitely present here. Moody and Lee should have never 'broken up'.

Yay! It's the anti-Amy Lee brigade! Here's a band I might be interested in supporting.

the vocalist in an ex-American Idol contestant from season 7 and she sounds almost exactly like Amy Lee.

Regardless, it's a band that I feel must've been formed out of spite for Amy Lee. There's no doubt in my mind. And, American Idol affiliation aside, I think they sound okay -- listenable, at the very least.

Hell, I can't really picture myself still being interested in listening to this tomorrow, though.

It is just Evanescence, but then with a singer which voice sounds similar to Amy's :p The song is ok :p

Just like Velvet Revolver was GnR, but then with an other singer :p

Yeah, except Weiland is an excellent, talented singer/songwriter, despite his issues...
And VR were better than GnR, in my opinion...

Ben Moody is better off solo in my opinion. His album is great and this is just a rehash of something he's already done.

Exactly, what is he trying to prove? This is almost like he cant get past Evanescence. It's sad, and it makes him look worse than it makes Amy look.

The days of Ben Moody in Evanescence, made the band look shit and the band nowadays, sounds the same level of shitness so I really don't see with Ben Moody Strikes Back is trying to prove really. Are they trying to outplay Evanescence (and coicidentally are ex-members of Evanescence) in lack of sound and the improvement of brainwashing teenage zombies into more of their album sales?

This is going to Megadeth and Metallica all over again!

But Metallica's reputation for 'being a legendary band' outwits Megadeth anyday, and I think Shitnescence will be more popular then this band any day.

    Oh god.

I've just had an awful thought.

Let there be no Guitar Hero: Evanescence out ever.

Yeah, they're legendary, but I think alot of people will choose Megadeth over Metallica.

Let's not blow this out of proportion. It's just Evanescence, after all. There will NEVER be a Guitar Hero based around them, and even comparing this to Metallica/Megadeth is insulting.

Personally, for me to say a female fronted band is shit takes a lot since I'm a big fan of female fronted bands. And personally, I choose Megadeth over Metallica anyday. Just making a comparison how the four bands have a similiar pattern to them concerning disjointed members, so no insult was intended.

Yeah but Megadeth never did anything particularly special, whereas Metallica are probably the second or third most important band in metal ever, behind Maiden and Sabbath.

And yeah, I wouldn't stress too much about the guitar hero thing...

This Megadeth/Metallica shit is stupid. Dave Mustaine was hardly even a Metallica member, he wasn't on any of the releases that they are known for.
