    Yeah. I just think the entire fiasco is ridiculous. Anyone who applies for a state or government job goes through a rigorous background check before they're even considered for a position. To think that the FBI would let something like the birthplace of the President slip through the cracks seems a bit ludicrous.


    @Derek: That's the first I've heard of that. Interesting.

    Regarding the whole birth certificate thing, it's all bullshit. And if it really did turn out that Obama is not a natural born citizen, then he would be forced out of office and Joe Biden would become president so these dumbfucks still would be losers. McCain and Palin wouldn't magically become pres and VP.

    And Derek, I will defend McCain here. You are considered a natural born citizen if your mother is a citizen even if you are born overseas. And he was born at a US naval base at a time when Panama was under US control. So he would be eligible to be president. If he won, I'm sure someone would contest it but a court would rule that he is a natural citizen.

    Well alright, but in that case...since Obama's mother is a natural born citizen, doesn't that technically make Obama a natural born citizen no matter where he was born?

    And for the record, there's plenty of proof he was born in Hawaii...people just don't want to accept it.

    Actually, not quite. The law says that the mother has to have been a citizen for 10 years, 5 of which are after the age of 14 to transmit citizenship, basically the mother has to be 19 at the time of birth, and Obama's mother was 18. That's why they say McCain is eligible and Obama isn't. If Obama was born outside the US, they would be right and he would not be a natural born citizen. But there's plenty of proof he was born in Hawaii so it's irrelevant and they're just a bunch of racist sore losers.

    Yeah, that site is run by Andrew Schlafly, son of infamous wingnut Phyllis Schlafly. The family is from St. Louis so I hear way too much about them.

    Interestingly enough, Andrew's cousin Tom is the founder of Schlafly Brewery, the largest St. Louis owned brewery ever since the Belgians bought AB. Schlafly makes good beer and Tom is a Democrat so I buy their products quite often. It's much better than Budweiser which is bottled Clydesdale piss :lol:

    I find it funny that I still haven't met someone with swine flu. Curiously enough, it's always "a friend of a friend" or similar that has it. I'm gonna go ahead and suggest that that person doesn't have swine flu and just has a cold, or the person doesn't actually exist.
