At the moment, women are being kinda like buses for me. There's either none, or loads at the same time suddenly appear. Sometimes their bendy, and other times their topless. But never both.

 

Essentially, there's a person I know. She is about as immature and un-empathetic as they come (not quite the worst I know in that respect but I digress). She always misconstrues tiny things as massive problems, and when I try to reason with her (and when I say that I genuinely mean trying to explain what she's doing in the most reasonable way possible) it becomes obvious that she can't stand being in the wrong, and so she tries shifting the blame onto someone or something else, to the point where she's continually either making veiled digs at me or putting me into awkward situations regarding what I think of her. I don't want to refer to this as a "girl problem" because the vast majority of the angst that comes from me is in that area and I really do have bigger fish to fry, and I hope no one thinks I've given her a raw deal because, if anything, I'm usually awful at giving people a raw deal and this is no exception. What you suggested is exactly what I'm going to do.

In the rest of your post I'm guessing you were referring to one of those guys your girlfriend is chummy with. Right?

Marj, am I taking what you said the wrong way or was Maxime cheating on you?

Naaaah, he didn't cheat on me. Well, we talked (again), we're just gonna take a mini break for now, let things cool down, and then we'll see from there.

Yes and no...it's hard to explain. We both love each other alot, we'll still sleep in the same bed, we'll still do stuff together on days that we're both off, but more in a friend way.

 

I see, it seems like a good idea and I hope it works out for you.

Jesse, shit man that's serious. Just try not to get yourself involved, as much as they may be your brothers.

Luke, eh, if people are going to be assholes like that that's not exactly your fault. He may be your friend but he got himself into this mess and you did try to stop him. So what else can you do?

Dave: I like the way you put that. But I know what you mean. I get rather little attention when I'm single but as soon as I have a girlfriend it gets ridiculous, lol.




Dean: Ah, I see what you mean. Actually sounds a lot like Darcy, a drama queen who tries to turn everything into the end of the world. But if she's going to insinuate you're at fault or put you in awkward situations, that's not right. As I said, just ignore her.

And yeah, this one particular guy, actually. Yoshi, I mentioned him a couple of posts ago. Basically he's done a few things. One, when we were in the city on Saturday, he spent a lot of time getting really close to Emmy, talking to her in hushed whispers, at one point going off with her by themselves (note normally I don't have a problem with Emmy doing this with other guys that I know, but after what else he's done...). Then he basically dedicates his Myspace to her, saying he's in a relationship with the "most amazing girl, baby we're invincible, blah blah blah". Thirdly, he invites himself over to Emmy's on Sunday while I'm there (which he knows) and I had to go pick him up from the train station.

Unfortunately he's the kind of guy who carries a knife around, so I can't exactly say much to him. I've talked to Emmy and she swears it's very one-sided on his part, and that we're both just going to ignore him. /rant
