    Well, I'm happy they took the break they needed from those hip-hop elements. They'll bring more of a hip-hop sound for this album (maybe) with a fresh perspective on how it'll serve the music.

    I dunno why i feel like all what you've said is right that the new album will probably sound like M2M. All i know is that i don't want this thing to happen.

    I didn't say I thought it would sound like MTM but rather give my opinion how Mike's rapping will be formatted on the album. ;)

    I said that I thought MTM was LP's transistional album when it first came out. It's mearly the middle ground between the old LP sound and the completed new LP sound and I think it's a pretty exciting prospect. Let's face it, MTM was a nice album but we know they can do better with that sound. It won't take much to get LP on track for another landmark album now that they have a direction to go in.

    concerning the rapping on this album
    imma steal a line from Chester
    "I'll believe it when im opening the CD"
    i wont take anything 100% about the details of the album seriously till the album is out

    And I'm just going to hype the album up in my mind to the point where I'll be disappointed no matter what they release.

    Any guess to who the producer will be? Rob Cavallo, Brian Eno, Reznor, Shinoda?

    As far as I know (though I could be wrong), Mike produced two of LP's albums by himself that were great. Reanimation & the Hybrid Theory EP.

    True but I think its better if someone that is not in the band is also there to help.

    I would be happy with just Shinoda, but, if the band knows what they want, they'll know the right producer to pick in order to get what they want for the new album.

    i believe this album will bring
    minutes to midnight and hybrid theory/meteora together
    they might construct the previous albums for this new one
    new unique sound and rapping awesome stuff
