Reminder: "New Divide" Premieres Today

Won't happen, Warner isn't releasing songs for the Guitar Hero/Rock Band series anymore for pretty much the same reasons they pulled all their stuff from Youtube. They want more money for licensing.

I don't particularly want the instruments louder there, I like my dynamics. If i were in charge of how i wanted the mix, i would turn the vocals down a little.

I never complained about the song. I complained about the mix/master. Chester's loud vocals were one of the the first things i noticed about the track, so i decided to post about it.

The 320kb/s version isn't as bad though.

 

Whichever works. There are places where I thought the vocals were slightly too loud/the instruments were slightly too quiet, just not the verses myself.

By song i meant the writing of the song. THE SONG IS GOOD GUIZ.

Alot of songs on Meteora and Hybrid relied on Joe. Not the entire album but more on Meteora than on Hybrid.

Now they haven't. Back in 2002 - 2003 - 2004... their onstage performances weren't all that great. I think it was until Live In Texas when they started to improve live. I don't blame them, their sound is not that easy to reproduce live.

That's a good thing! Most song are instrumentally driven but you don't want them all to be instrumentally driven, or you are canning the LP sound out the window.

The crazy part is that this song would definitely be Rock Band 2 worthy, but like Dr. Oct mentioned.. it ain't happening =|.

 

Rock Band? Pfft, should be on Guitar Hero 5 this fall, if anything.

 

You know, i'd love for it to be on Guitar Hero. But seeing how I play electric guitar in real life.. Rock Band does a fantastic job at getting the note charts to match the movement and pace of the real guitar. So it's almost similar to how you would play it on the electric.

Guitar Hero on the other hand.. compensates by adding extra frets that don't need to be there and "slides" or skittles as I like to call em to make it seem like you are playing sections that.. are either

A) a rhythm guitar
B) a lead guitar
C) a third guitar.

BUT, Guitar Hero is definitely offering some really neat options Rock Band is definitely lacking. If anything, I hope for both .

It's a Linkin Park song... with a "band" sound to it. Unlike their previous material that wasn't Rock Band worthy.

It sucks though.. it still will be an easy song on either game.

I'm getting pretty annoyed now. I realized the song was available on istore today (despite claiming it would be out May 31st for the UK). However, when I went to try and purchase it, it stated that the song was unavailable and that now it was out June 7th. How has it gone from May 31st to June 7th?

Does the single even know when it's officially coming out? I don't know.

 

I think this is becoming my favourite linkin park song, just love it, and sounds awesome in your car! Really hope this is what their new album will sound like!
