I actually found Knocked Up a lot funnier. This one was just trying too hard to be funny. But to each his own I guess.

Well it was written by Kevin Smith, and Kevin ALWAYS does a lot of in your face "You better fucking laugh" jokes.

Works for me, Zack & Miri is one of my favorite movies ever.

No, I didn't like Pineapple that much.

It is a dry humor to me, I mean I like it but I like to laugh at HOW someone says "Fuck" or something like that, it's all in the deliverance of the funny.

For example, in Zack & Miri when Miri is talking about "Taking Bobby Long home" Zack looks up and goes, "..Bobby FUCKING Long?!"

I DIED at that part.

 

Lol I get what you are saying. Seth does that kind of comedy a lot. But with this movie the humor was way too "in your face" for my taste. Plus the plot seemed a little too clichéd.

Again, it's all about taste.

I'm looking forward to Year One! That movie looks hella funny!

 

Yeah, I am waiting for that as well.
