Possible Instrumental Clip of The New Linkin Park Song?

I have a feeling it's the new track. For the original Transformers trailer, they started out using the What I've Done instrumental, and then later in the trailer they used the score. It would make perfect sense if they decided to use the same formula. Also, trailers of this caliber typically tend to avoid non-orchestrated music unless it's from an artist featured on the soundtrack. Since they're going out of their way to make the LP song part of the Transformers experience, I'm willing to bet it's LP's.

 

Can anyone tell if the orchestral piece contains the same notes as the beginning synth piece?

They're being followed by people who are associated with Chester in some way (Amir Derakh, Chris and Vicky Cornell, Talinda presuming that is her, etc), and they aren't following many people themselves whereas I think fake accounts normally seem to follow loads of people for the attention. Most real celebrities on Twitter, with some exceptions, don't follow very many people. The possibility remains.

I did ask them, but I deleted the post because I figured that, if the music in the trailer IS Linkin Park and that really is Chester, the label might have told them to keep schtum about it. Plus he might just not want to be bothered about that sort of thing.

I didn't notice, so thanks for pointing that out. He hasn't told us anything we don't already know. I said "Is any of the music from the new Transformers 2 trailer from the new Linkin Park song, by any chance?" or something to that effect.

 

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Regardless we're no closer to knowing whether or not the trailer includes any music actually recorded by LP.

 

Turns out the orchestrated piece in the trailer was taken from the track "Scorponok" on the first movie's score. It still sounds quite similar to the track at the beginning of the trailer, which would suggest that it isn't the new LP track. I guess we won't know until we hear it from them directly!

 

Funny, I saw/heard the clip and immediately thought it was Linkin Park. I like it.
