I think I'm slowly developing a fear of crossing roads

seriously, though. I almost got hit by this tool who was speeding up my friend's road on Friday and I keep flashing back to it, only in the flashbacks I get hit instead of getting out of the way. :\

 

I'm really growing tired of this shit.

You should, people and cars are one of the most dangerous things you can encounter in daily life.

Dean: I used to be afraid of crossing roads, but I got over it. Probably because people in little, tiny, antique-shop, Saugerties, don't drive that crazy. But really...people are kinda crazy driving, and crossing the road is definitely a legitimate fear, imo.

You're probably right, but I was joking when I mentioned the possible fear of it. I think I've just been traumatised slightly. I mean, it was pretty close. Close enough for me to have to practically jump out of the way. It's just weird how whenever my mind wanders I have that image. But yeah, anyway...

I've had a few close calls with cars a handful of times, and now I tend to panic if I'm crossing the street, or starting to cross, and I see a car. Even if the car's going the direction I'm walking, I freak out a little bit. So I know where you're coming from on that one.

 

I've been in about 5 or 6 car crashes in my life (that I remember anyway)and yes, they are very traumatizing. I guess that's why I rather walk than drive anywhere, unless the distance is too far. And if I didn't get tired any my leg didn't get sore with it's limp and all I'd consider walking further...

Though what makes it weird is that I'm somewhat careless in my walking, I could be more safe.. I have bad habits.. uh.

 

...Do you need some tips? It does take practice, though.

I know you were joking, but still, traffic is more dangerous than most people seem to recognize. I guess, that's just routine, but people do get too careless.

 

Yeah, true. I haven't had any problems actually crossing roads though so hey, I guess. I think it's going away now in any case.

 

Words cannot describe Music as a Weapon 4. I was there from 12:30PM-10PM (Didn't stay for all of Disturbed) but that had to be the best concert I've ever been to. I was at least 10ft away from the stage on the floor. Oh my God.

And there was a surprise Meet n' Greet with Lacuna Coil. OH MY GOD!

 

Hahaa, I'm so glad that you had so much fun! I totally want to go to another concert...three days grace would be spectacular...
