As far as I can see people have only disagreed with and debated what you've said the vast majority of the time. that =/= not allowing you to be critical.
Generally, I really don't like it when artists don't write the songs they get credit for, and that's the reason I don't like most pop and R&B tracks I hear today. For instance, Kelly Clarkson only wrote or co-wrote "about half the songs" on her latest album, and no-one has a problem with that. In fact, it seems to come off as impressive. Fine, someone reinterpreting an existing work (i.e. the written song) can count as art to an extent, but I just can't see it that way. I see it as "artists" getting rich off songs other people wrote for them. Obviously, writing a song is not all it takes to me an artist, I understand; and I respect Kelly Clarkson because she's a great performer. And she has written quite a few songs herself which have been good. All that being said, I can respect the Jonas Brothers; based on information about their latest release, they've pretty much written all the songs themselves, with the occasional co-writer. Their style of music and their image may not suit my taste but I respect them as musicians and, more importantly (IMO), songwriters, who can write and perform competently.
Today's music scene is so wrong actually and just...I hate it. But I won't go further after I heard of XVZ's ban which is forever. Well the haters keep their mouth shut
And maybe you shouldve kept your mouth shut. Your mention of XVZ made me suspicious so I cross checked your IP addresses and found an exact match. Goodbye.
It's stored in our database forever. If I ever needed proof of it for some reason, I could find it again
