In all seriousness, Your sister is paranoid and there's nothing much you can do about it except do so, i mean, she's your sister and apparently can go about alone.

 

Jesse: Do you think she's just faking it or if it's some mental thing? It just makes me think of when we were learning about split personalities in Psych class, that they could do something when they were one "person" but didn't [know they] have the ability as a different "person." Just a thought. I am sorry that you have to deal with it though...it sounds frustrating.

 

Darcy hooked up (read: kissed) with another guy in the city yesterday. One of her best mates, apparently drunk, randomly grabbed her and kissed her. She was telling me about it when I picked her up a few hours later, and I figured, it's okay, she didn't do anything wrong, y'know? So I comforted her (she was crying) and everything seemed okay.

So we got back to her house, and a little bit later she starts asking me these hypotheticals. Like "what would you do if a) I realised what he was doing after a few moments, but then didn't stop, or b) started it myself?". So I gave her my answers. The latter, I'd probably tell her to fuck off, and I'd leave (well I said it in slightly nicer words, but I was honest), and the first I don't think I'd dump her but it would warrant a very serious conversation. And then she says to me, "what if it was kinda the first one?". WTF.

So I kind of didn't really know what to say or do, so ended up just lying there not saying, or doing much for a good fifteen minutes or so. And then after that she has the nerve to ask me "you're mad at me, don't lie" (as I'd said I wasn't previously). NO KIDDING.

So obviously on one hand I'm kind of like "what the shit, she kissed another guy even though she realised what she was doing", but then on the other hand she was crying on Rachel's (Ryan's girlfriend) shoulder for like half an hour straight afterwards. I don't really know what the fuck to think to be honest. We're still together, and I know for a fact she's still crazy about me. I'm just so very, very fucking confused.

 

Was she drunk herself?

 

Nope, she was completely sober. She actually doesn't drink, smoke, or do drugs. But she hates the term straight-edge.

Daniel: Well, I'll kinda put it from a different perspective. My friend Alex, the one that was basically in love with me, I had a little side crush on him, even though obviously I was very in love with Josh, there was just a piece of me that was attracted to him. A while ago we kissed. And I kissed him back. BUT, I knew it was so so wrong and it freaked me out because like ya know. After I left I was really upset about it obviously, I felt dirty and just wrong, so I called Alex promptly and was like "yeah, no, never again, ever." I never told Josh about it. I wish I did, but I don't want to go through with that, especially since that's over.
But, maybe she did that, and got caught up in the moment, and afterwards was just like 'SHIT' and there was nothing she could do but tell you, which I admire. I dunno if it really helps to read something similar but maybe. It does sound like she cares about you, especially since she took that step to be honest with you.
I hope everything works out okay.

I'm finding myself really not liking the things I used to do. I was hanging with my friends and it was fun and all but i wasn't happy. I dont really feel like playing the game i usually play (I've been addicted to for 3ish years). I hardly find anything fun to do or something.

I know i should be grateful for a million and 5 things, however, I'm just no feeling it.

 

Wow, what a shitty night. I actually had something thrown at me by a guest so I told him I'd help him as soon as he'd act polite so he told me to fuck off. Later on he came back asking me it politely and I asked him if that was so hard to ask. The fucker. My teamleader took me off half an hour earlier because I had so much guest situations, I was upset by all the guests yelling at me.

Arlene: I'm pretty much convinced that she knows what she is doing a lot of the time and call control it. Being as that even her doctors had told my parents she is manipulating people. I have no doubt that she does indeed have depression and is very paranoid. She slept in the bathroom of our parents house, because she was afraid to sleep on the couch because she was afraid the door was unlocked after we assured her it was very much locked. Yet when no one is around she seems to get by, she cooks for herself, for days without any help, and that is just one small thing, I could give a hundred examples. But when she gets tired of doing things for herself she blames it on her problem. she says "I have a problem, I can't do it" so most of the time my parents agree but a few times they just don't want to deal with it and they MAKE her do it, and it turns out, she can do it, even though she says she's incapable.
Most of the time though, she has our parents so... manipulated. If I believed I was wrong I would feel very very very very very bad about how I feel, that she's just using her troubles to her advantage. She pays no rent, she does house work only when she if forced to stay home alone (meaning if my mom is there, or if someone is visiting she wants the Visitor to do it, which doesn't make much sense to me, because, she can clean when no one is there, so why not do it when someone is there?)
I'm sorry if I'm sounding like a total jackass Arlene but, I believe that she is capable of far more than she lets people believe she is. She takes medicine and it does slow her down but like I said, when people aren't around to do things for her, she does them herself, so clearly she can do them.

Marj: I'm sorry. People are such.. impatient and mean! Maybe there would be a employee complaint system that should be able to fire guest, aka ban them

 

Jesse: You don't sound at all like a jackass. I was just wondering if maybe it was deeper than the depression/paranoia but it sounds like she's basically a moocher, or just lazy. I'm sorry that you have to deal with her and then deal with those little feelings of guilt for the way you're feeling...that's not right. It does sound very frustrating. Why make people do things for you when you can do it yourself? Yeah, people are lazy sometimes but c'mon. Grow up. I'm sorry, hon.
