I don't know if you remember any of the 73 times I'd decided to "leave and never come back," but I almost always lurked for, like, a week or two after I'd left.

 

I skip school at the library.

Ahem, libraries*.

 

Goodness, it wouldn't stop bleeding.

 

I remember doing that when I left for about 9 months. Lurked for like a week, then one day I just stopped coming here and it became part of my daily cycle. Probably better for me that happened actually.

EDIT: Alright. GrammarPolice!Mali came out and I'm not in trouble this time.

 

Yeah, leaving the couple times I did was really good for me, actually.

I don't know, it just seems to me that lately, when I choke myself with culture (conservatoire, concerts, libraries, quaint little bookstores with a great choice of foreign books, etc), I see plenty of good-looking people.

Mmmm. One of the violinists at the last Tchaikovsky-laureate-dedicated concert I attended at the Conservatoire was gorgeous. The First Violin wasn't bad, either, but he was far too old for my taste, and it was kind of disconcerting how he kept staring at me sitting in the front row. I mean, for crying out loud! My freaking godmother, her friend, and my mother noticed that! And at the next concert I went to in that series, the same orchestra was there, and I was dog tired, and I couldn't close my eyes, because my head would start drooping, and he was still looking at me ".

 

Mali, you are very mature looking (no you don't look old) for your age. He probably thought you were older then you really are.

 

Good, otherwise I'd cancel your card. At the one I work at anyway. It's only a college library anyway.

 

I felt kind of awful since my mother was right there, but then I felt awful for the guy, since he looked a bit wounded, so I gave him a smile, and it only made things worse.

 

Oh, you work at a library? That's pretty cool. I think I might work there over the summer.

 

He was probably thinking "she's beautiful, and she smiled at me, yay! Lets flirt some more."
