Jack White's new band, set to have an album out in June, features members from The Kills, The Raconteurs and Queens of the Stone Age.
Why doesn't he just go solo and release everything that way? It's hard keeping track of all the bands .
I just found a couple of their songs and they don't seem to sound a great deal like his other bands. They basically sound like The Kills but harder and less sexy.
It's funny you posted that, because I was going to ask if this sounds anything different from anything else he's ever put out. It all sounds the same, boring and contrived. And he's got just about the worst voice ever.
Yeah but Jack also does vocals and one of the songs he was the main vocalist. I only heard Alison in the cover song they have...but I've also only heard two songs. The one with Alison singing sounded different but the one with Jack singing sounded exactly like The Raconteurs.
I think Jack Lawerance's guitar work is much different from The Raconteurs than to what it is in here. I found the two songs I listen to, somewhat, odd. I haven't gotten use to the idea of Jack White drumming, even though I know he was a drummer in his first band (The Upholsters) and did the drumming work on Another Way to Die with Alicia Keys but was merely shown in the film clip as playing the guitar. I'm so used to hearing someone else drum and him cranking up the whammy bar. And plus, the album only has four tracks on it. It's leaked already. Because he doesn't want to
