The guy you're seeing is Christopher Eccleston, he played the Ninth Doctor in the first season of the new series. David Tennant is the Tenth, and he's my favorite so far. He's been on seasons 2-4, and the specials this year since they're not doing a season

 

It's a sweet show except I can't help but think how lame the R2D2 type aliens are.

They are like a box of death lol.

 

The Daleks? They could kick R2D2's ass anyday. The creator of them years ago made them based off the Nazis.

 

I think that's part of the appeal, the fact that when it comes down to it can be pretty crappy and cheesy but it doesn't try too hard to pretend otherwise.

 

I can picture that, and I know that they would pwn R2D2...but not C-3P0

Is it just me or is the season with Eccleston filmed differently than Tennant?

Tennant's shows seem really different in camera and film effects etc. Like, smoother almost, almost UNDER produced feeling.

 

Yeah. And his dad would murder him, anyway.

I think it's all his own money, since he makes a nice bit of cash off YouTube, but the huge stacks of money he's been showing off on his Twitter account in pics are most likely stacks of ones, fives, and twenties with the hundred-dollar-bills on top. And yet, there are a lot of people who keep going on about it being real, or else absolutely freaking out about it being completely fake. No one's being sane about it.

Doesn't help when you've got douchers like Shay Carl who are tweeting, "OH MY GOD CHARLES TRIPPY YOU NEED TO TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON SO MANY PEOPLE ARE WORRIED AND I'M GETTING SO MANY QUESTIONS." Fuck, ever since Shay Carl got popular, he got stupider.

 

So the new Julien-K CD isn't all bad... I'm just not used to that kind of "electronic-stuff-thingy" sort of music, lol.

Yay. Reading the Half-Blood Prince, I presume? I was going to read it one more time before the movie comes out, but I've been in a Harry Potter mood lately and I think I'm gonna start reading all of them all over again.

I finished Half-Blood Prince and I'm on Deathly Hallows now. I'm probably going to have to give them back to my friend (I've had them for over a year now, haha) so I won't be able to read them again till I've got my own copies.

 

LOL. Shay Carl cracks me up simply because he is so stupid. The episode of him and Phil Defranco turkey bowling in Walmart was the most hysterical thing. I kept expecting them to take out a little kid on accident with the frozen turkey.

I keep waiting for SC's wife to beat him up on camera. I have a feeling he's scared of her.
