This is a friend's band out of Tuscon, AZ. They are a hardcore/metal ish act, closest I can compare it to that I have heard is The Devil Wears Prada but with alot more singing. Recently they have begun recording tracks and have posted one up on their myspace. I was surprised how well it's turning out, I've heard 3 tracks from their forthcoming EP and they all sound awesome. My friend levi is the drummer and I'm very impressed with how fast he is on the kit. Here's the link if you care to check them out, their first full song is titled "Seven Seas"

Wow, those guys are good. The singer's voice is quite unique for the metalcore style they play in, but when the screaming started it sounded a bit too... familiar? But yeah, they're very good. Nice guitar work and breakdown.

    They aren't his band.

And that aside, some people might want their bands to have their own thread.

Doesn't matter if they aren't his band. He could say, this is my friends band. That's why we made a thread for it. So new threads don't need to be made.

Well, I never check that thread, so it never occured to me to put it there. What's the difference between me saying it's my friends band, and me saying, oh hey check out this band I found? They are on the threshold of actually being a professional band, so in my opinion, I think they deserve their own thread. If you really have a problem with it, I guess you could pm an admin or a mod, and they can move it instead of arguing in the thread.

I think he was just asking, not trying to be sarcastic.

This. I appreciate you explaining it without being rude Jawsome :)

EDIT: I shouldn't have even replied to Jordan, my bad.

I was going to say something like that (the bolded part), i mean they're pretty high up on the lineup for a Knights Of The Abyss concert. Knights Of The Abyss are pretty well known to someone into that kind of music.

Also, is there any chance you could give us a link to the download of their ep when it's finished? With the band's permission of course. I wouldn't mind listening to it.

They seem pretty good. The clean vocals remind me of Jesse Leach, only... cleaner sounding. That's intended as a compliment by the way.

Wow, they're actually pretty good. Like Jordan said, nice guitar work and while breakdown's are really overdone now, that one was pretty sweet.

Yeah I'll ask him, I have two other tracks I'd be able to send at the moment if it's okay with him, I'll let you know.

I like the music quite a lot. The vocals, not so much.
