What the fuck? You don't see people like Axl Rose, Tommy Lee or Kid Rock denied entry over here... No offence to any US people but your country needs to sort it's security policies out. Rob is a nice guy and is certainly no threat to you guys's security.
Along with several other countries I might add...but it's a different case with him. Snoop practically takes pride in the ridiculously long list of offences he's committed. At least with the others there are some boundaries...people like Snoop Dogg don't seem to care. Even still though I wouldn't say he's a threat to people's security...they'll be calling these people terrorists next.
Did not know that... I thought they were American, guess not. That sucks but at least he has a fill in for the time being.
Quite frankly, the U.S. should be giving work visas to any musician who requests one, because letting them in the country means they're going to make some damn money for us, which we seem to be having a hard time doing ourselves.
No offense, but I'm guessing you've never had to enter the UK as a non-UK citizen. When I was going through passport control at Heathrow, I was questioned like I was a terrorist trying to get into the UK to blow something up. A bunch of ridiculous questions that were probably unnecessary. By contrast, I wasn't even questioned when entering Germany. The lady took a quick look at my passport, stamped it and the only thing she said to me was "Welcome to Germany." And despite the UK's tough questioning and Germany's lack of questioning, terrorism is a much bigger problem in the UK (when was the last attack in Germany?). I'm not disagreeing with you, I think the US needs to relax a bit, but please don't criticize another country until you know what yours does.
umm. Maybe because UK gets more terrorism they're harsher than Germany, who hasn't had any terrorism in a long time. I agree with everything else though. I'm just a bit eh on that part.
That's odd...hardly anyone else I know who's flown into the UK as a foreigner has had any problem at all, and that includes people who have flown in from the US. When was it that you came to the UK? Whenever I fly to the US I have to fill out a card that asks me if I partook in Nazism during the second world war or have ever taken part in espionage. I don't know if you guys get that coming over here but either way that kind of crap is ridiculous.
In this country privacy and liberty for the everyday person is slowly but surely going down the plughole, so it's so surprise to see Todd say that.
The U.S. actually still arrests people if they find out that they were involved with the Nazis during WWII. They just hauled a 90-something year old guy not too far from where I live off to prison a couple years ago when they found out he was a guard at a concentration camp. Kind of hypocritical, considering the U.S. also brought all the top Nazi scientists over here after WWII, many of which were instrumental in the beginnings of our space program.
