Why so low :( I loved it!

And I have to agree that Babylon AD was the biggest waste of money/time ever... I wouldn't say it didn't make sense... it was just plain silly in the first place.... I'm sure it looked great on paper as a sci fi book... but oh lord that does not mean make it into a cheesy action flick and draft a lead character that will suck people in...

I have to say that Pan's Labyrinth is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I guess reading all the great reviews/reactions about the movie raised my expectation a lot but after finally watching it I was left wanting for more. I felt like "okay so... that's it?" Plus it's not the type of film I'll enjoy watching over and over again.

    The Strangers 2/10

Another film which turned out to be highly disappointing. All the suspense didn't really lead up to anything exciting.

    Coraline in 3D

If you like Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, you'll definitely like this. Awesome in 3d and the trailers that accompany it are very neat for the upcoming 3d films. The stop motion animation is stellar. It's visually beautiful and has a nice story to it, albeit slightly dark.

    Oldboy

Don't watch it. It's the most fucked up movie ever made.

    EDIT:

Okay, apart from the plot (which is extremely sick), the film is actually top notch. And it won't be a stretch to even call it a classic. If you have a strong stomach I highly recommend this film.

Max Payne - 6/10 Nothing unique, just you're typical action flick, but by the previews I was expecting so much more,

Not really a movie but I just finished watching Linkin Park's Road to Revolution DVD.

It was really impressive in terms of performance, editing, lighting effects. The crowd was great too. Overall, I would say it's miles better than Live In Texas.

Role Models - Hilarious. Nothing I'd really criticise it for. The kid who plays Ronnie is my new favourite actor and he should be cast in EVERYTHING.

Pride and Glory - Eh, cliche dirty cop movie. Although I thought one of the scenes near the end was so perfectly put together but other then that it wasn't very good. 5/10

Big Fish - Seen it before, love Tim Burton, 8/10

The boy in the stripped pajamas - wow... a really different take on a holocaust movie since its through the eyes of a german boy outside a camp instead of a jewish boy inside. I thought it was perfect, a little short, but really touching. 10/10

He's Just Not That Into You - 6/10
I went cos of Drew Barrymore, cos she's my favourite actor. Good chick flick though and there were some nice eye candy in it as well.
