So now it's 3 am my time, on Valentine's Day so I thought I might wish everyone my love. At least I'm lucky not to be single on this day like I have been in the many years that I wanted not to be single around the time. Damn Hallmark. Lol.
I was supposed to go see Aaron Lewis perform a solo concert in Atlantic City, NJ on Valentine's Day but I decided not to go. It was a spur of the moment type of thing anyway. Aaron Lewis + Valentine's Day = one of the most depressing things ever, so I'm actually glad I'm not going, lol. But yeah, Valentine's Day sux0rz and I could care less about it.
I'm not even single (and please, I'm not trying to rub that in), and I still think it's a bullshit, commercialised "holiday".
It's a holiday that... You can say. "Hey, wanna be my valentine?" And not actually get slapped hardcore, least, imo.
Um. Hallmark didn't "create" Valentine's Day. It's been around for centuries. They just milk it for all its worth.
I got my girlfriend a HUGE stuffed gorilla, a single rose, and a necklace my mom gave me that she got from someone but didn't wear.
I've never even had a girlfriend on Saint Valentine's day (rather conveniently!). Can't say it really phases me. Happy Valentine's though.
It's better to be single on Valentine's Day... Think about it, emotional girls that don't want to be alone during this day of "love" or whatever. It's impossible not to pull if you go out!
