doesnt surprise me, if leeds had managed to keep hold of a few of those young players they had when they went down they wouldnt be in such a position. The Argentinian striker you guys have seems to be doing alright but yeah, always havein players poached by bigger clubs

the Argy we have is far from being a Tevez of the Championship i'm afraid, i liked Kandol better in all honesty but really you would think that a club with Hulse and Healy would be able to win the Championship but we got relegated instead, i mean how much of a let down is that?

Tony Adams probably should have had more time. Scolari definitely should have. I mean, he's a world cup winner and practically none of the players were his signings for goodness sake.

It's a shame that people can't take what Fergie has done three or four times now at Man United as an example, or what O'Neill and Moyes are doing at Villa and Everton. They haven't been so successful with it recently but there's Arsenal as well.

Spain - England, France - Argentina and Maroco - Netherlands tonight.

I predict France will lose, the Netherlands will win and maybe a draw for Spain - England (but I'd prefer seeing England win).

@Evan : I was kinda serious about Hiddink. He did some awesome jobs with Korea and Russia. I do doubt training an international team and a club is the same but we'll see (he's still trainer of Russia btw).
But the only think that made him accept the job is that he's a close friend of Abrahimovic (he denied offers from other clubs).

I thought Villa fans were supposed to be fickle. One moment everyone loves us and the next, because we had five players in a squad who's team lost to the best in the world, we are at fault for that as well as climate change, the credit crunch and every terminal disease ever.

Those Tunisian tackles were quite dangerous.

I saw Nicky Shorey in Tesco on Friday. I never bump into any of our good players, with the exception of Dion Dublin.
