Ok, its official, Facebook is awesome, and this is why. (bit of a back story to this)

I have family in Italy, and when I was 15 my cousin wrote to me and sent me a picture. Her name is Donatella, and I loved the name so much, that's what I named my daughter.

I didn't have the presence of mind at 15 to actually keep in touch with her, but after my daughter was born in 2001, I actively started trying to find her by posting on message boards like ancestry.com and countless others.

Well last night, I decided, what the hell, lets search for her on facebook. There were three Donatella Luciani's, so I sent all three of them a message. One of them was my cousin, and she contacted me this morning.

I am just shocked, I mean seriously, what are the chances of that? Another twist to this, last month she found the post I had made in 2002 on ancestry.com, which had an email address of mine that I quit using four years ago, and she had written to me.
