Claire is pretty much useless at this point of the show. She served her purpose and in order for the show to move on, she cant be the center of every season.
Heroes won a Screen Actor's Guild award for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a TV Series.
Since i'm back, I have an announcement. I'm not a member of OMFGHEROES anymore. I gave up on watching the show after this first half of the season. The good news is that I did get my brother into it, so it was pretty damn awesome when he watched my Season 1 DVD set.
Feb 2... I have a feeling it well just be ok... but, I just can't quit watching and not see the end... it's like the harry potter books. I started them in 3rd grade and loved them but by the time middle school came around i thought they were retarded, but I couldnt help but read the last book the day it came out when I was in like 10th grade I guess it was. Once i get addicted to characters, even if it get's really stupid I can't help but find out the end.
TSK TSK. Anyways, if you haven't seen the new promo, go here. Since it's about Fugitives, there is obviously all footage from that volume, so be warned. I love the Heroes series, but I guess I'm just easily amused and too much of a comic book junkie to NOT love it.
I hadn't seen a promo for Fugitives yet but that definitely got me excited. Anyone know what that song is? EDIT: Nevermind. I found it. "Together" by Krystal Meyers
You really need to go and read the rules. This is the second time you have used the word "retarded". I thought you would have understood you can't use that word the first time you got warned for it, but again? I'd go and read over the rules if I were you as one more warning and you'll be banned.
oh dang man... i didn't even know I got the first warning... I didn't realize the word was considered offensive considering my cousin who actually is partially mentally challenged uses the word in the context that society has grown to... not as an offense against mentally ill people but as a regular word with multiple definitions. I guess I should read the rules but most forums run on very similar policies, being against very obscene and intentionally rude comments, which I would never break so I usually don't read the rules. I apologize to any one I may have offended.
So is it just me or did the premiere of fugitives suck.... I mean... where were the twists.... the suspense... the excitement... I mean, its already a suspenseful show but usually "season" premiers at least start with some kind of twist or excitement to make you tune in the next week but... idk.... big let down in my opinion
Technically it's not a new season. And the build-up in my opinion was perfect. I'm glad Heroes has gotten to the point where they don't need a twist every episode. It'd feel like M. Night Shyamalan directed every episode. I mean, they did it very well for Villains, but the way I expect this storyline to play out, I thought it was well done to have a 'what is going on now' episode. It sets the tone for the rest of the volume.
idk, i just felt like i was watching a filler episode. I don't feel like anything really happened... but maybe I missed something. Im just a little confused as to why Claire's dad is working with the people capturing everyone. I guess he had to do it to protect Claire, but he seems a little too involved.
Gah! lol, I know it's not a new season, that's why I put it in quotes. It was the premier of the new Volume, Fugitives, which in the past has usually been the season premier but I guess because of the writers strike and all the crammed the 2 volumes together into one season. But all I meant was, I was hoping for a more exciting premier to the volume and I felt let down. Of course the rest of the episodes could be great but now I am kinda worried. They didn't give me much hope for the show, but we will see.
